Privacy Policy

GlyphTempo is local by default. This policy explains exactly what stays on your device, what ordinary web infrastructure can see, and what happens only when you choose to contact us.

Effective and last updated: September 6, 2026

1. The short version

GlyphTempo does not require an account. Raw keystroke timing, typed text, corrections, and validity signals are processed in the active browser tab and are not uploaded to GlyphTempo servers.

A compact typing profile, practice history, preferences, and passage-selection state are stored in this browser's local storage so the product can adapt on this device.

2. Information stored on your device

This information stays in the browser profile you use. You can remove it through GlyphTempo's Personal Progress controls or by clearing this site's browser data.

  • Your compact typing profile and practice history.
  • Language, sound, and other product preferences.
  • The selected practice length and passage rotation state.

3. Information handled to deliver the website

When any website loads, its hosting and content-delivery providers receive standard technical request information such as IP address, browser and device headers, requested URL, timestamp, and security signals. This information is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability. GlyphTempo does not use advertising trackers and does not sell personal information.

The site downloads public application files, typing passages, and model assets. Those requests do not include your typing results or raw keystroke data.

4. Feedback and third-party services

If you choose Send Feedback, GlyphTempo prepares a GitHub Issue in a new page for you to review. Nothing is submitted until you choose to submit it on GitHub. If you email support@glyphtempo.com, your email provider and ours process the message. GitHub and email providers apply their own privacy terms.

Do not include passwords, private typing records, confidential documents, or other sensitive information in feedback.

5. Retention and deletion

Raw session timing is discarded when the active page state ends. Local profile and practice information remains until you delete it or clear the browser's site data. Voluntary feedback and support messages remain with GitHub or the relevant email providers according to their policies and any support need.

6. Age boundary

GlyphTempo is a research and course prototype intended for participants age 18 or older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product changes. The date above identifies the current version. Questions, privacy requests, and deletion questions may be sent to support@glyphtempo.com.
